Tomotoshi Hoshino

Tomotoshi Hoshino (b. 1961, Tokyo) is a distinguished Nihonga painter and a specially selected member of the Japan Art Institute (Inten), one of Japan’s most prestigious art organizations. He encountered Japanese painting at the age of 14 and later studied under Kōhei Morita. Since his first acceptance to the Inten Exhibition in 1987, he has continued to exhibit extensively both in Japan and internationally. His solo exhibitions have been held in venues such as Nihombashi Takashimaya (Tokyo), as well as in Paris, New York, and Oslo. His works are included in the collection of the Omishima Museum of Art.
