Peter Ravn explores the existential conditions of being human in contemporary society. Through the loss of identity, control, and certainty, he exposes the latent tension that defines modern existence. His figures appear simultaneously as agents and as victims, inhabiting a liminal state between action and surrender. Rather than offering a linear narrative, Ravn constructs staged scenes and cinematic mise-en-scènes that invite the viewer’s interpretation. His visual language, informed by his background in graphic design and film, evokes theatrical moments of conflict and reflection—an aesthetic inquiry into the psychological and social dimensions of anxiety.
