Daniel Wheedong Kim's artworks are inspired by different social media. Each artwork has the motivation from either a YouTube commercial, Instagram, or magazine. Not only bring images from sns, but the artworks follow the ratio of their format. For example, Instagram uses a square ratio so the artwork is in the ratio of square. The delicately arranged points of the artwork are not the only things that can be seen when looking at the artwork in detail. There are scratches on the surface of the work, which reflects the artist's intention to pursue extreme flatness, but also to feel the materiality of the work when viewed up close.
