MAMABLUES builds her own universe through artworks filled with ambiguity, mystery, and emotional depth. Working mostly in grayscale, she uses light, proportion, and expressive line work to explore identity and human complexity. She values experimentation and adapts her techniques according to each concept, creating a practice that evolves over time while maintaining a clear, consistent artistic voice. This work portrays a human figure curled into a fetal pose within a form that evokes the image of a womb. Using delicate lines and subtle expressions of light, the artist applies translucent, see through layers of color, as if the interior were gently revealed. The joints are rendered in a doll like or robotic manner, making the figure’s gender and identity feel intentionally ambiguous. Through this approach, the artist invites the viewer to contemplate the notion of birth from a more structural and almost engineering oriented perspective.
